We are very pleased to announce that the long-awaited final draft of the new Pavement Design Manual for Low Volume Sealed Roads in Malawi is now complete. This manual describes the Dynamic Cone Penetrometer (DCP) approach to the design of low volume sealed roads, and we believe that it is the first design manual of its type to be produced. Please download the manual from the AFCAP web site, and feel free to offer any comments or suggestions. Please note that some of the figures and photographs in the manual will be improved for the final published version.
