An article examining effects of the government of Bangladesh’s COVID-19 measures on the country’s transportation system and road safety. Public transportation operators in Bangladesh are already experiencing an economic crisis, and the COVID-19 restriction measures intensified it. The study finds that COVID-19 restriction measures have little impact on road traffic deaths and injuries.
