The European market for Public-private partnerships has not collapsed and public sector interest for PPP as a form of project finance has grown accross Europe as a consequence of the economic crisis. These are key findings of this report, a comprehensive up-to-date study of the PPP market, by DLA Piper and the European PPP Expertise Centre (EPEC). The report examines the current PPP market across Europe, alongside detailed analysis of individual member states, comments on local PPP policy and prevailing market conditions. Looking ahead, the report considers possible future directions and specialised use of PPP.
