The Bangalore case study, prepared by The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI), assesses the mobility challenges and opportunities in India with specific reference to Bangalore, the second fastest growing city in India in terms of population with city area expansion.
Bangalore was selected as it has achieved rapid economic growth, mainly driven from the service sector, and particularly information technology (IT). Like other Indian cities, the city faces growing mobility demands and various mobility challenges.
