6th Africa Transportation Technology Transfer (T2) Conference 2013 – Proceedings
The Africa Transportation Technology Transfer (T2) is a forum to share, exchange and debate experiences, best practices, and new technologies in the provision, maintenance and management of all modes of transport. It is also a forum for sharing and exchanging existing and new approaches on technology transfer that enables countries to develop effective integrated transportation systems, which are safe, efficient, reliable and affordable. Participants from most African countries, United States of America, Europe, Latin America, Asia, and Australia attended the 6th Africa Transportation Technology Transfer (T2) Conference held at Gaborone International Conference Center, Grand Palm, Gaborone, Botswana 4th – 8th March 2013. The Conference whose theme “Effective Management of Transport Infrastructure of Economic Recovery in Africa” was conceived to facilitate discussion on four thematic area including transport asset management and maintenance systems; sustainable innovation in transport technologies, alternative construction material; cross cutting issues in the transport sector; and many more.
